8950-10 Mobile Stray Voltage Detection System
Features: Economical, Detects levels as low as 1 VAC at distances up to 30 feet while moving, Field Replaceable Assemblies, Easy-to-Use Software with Visual and Audible Indications, Optional FFT allows discrimination between Primary or Neutral Side Fault
Applications: Narda's 8950/10 system is a total solution for important Stray Voltage testing, carried out by Utilities. Our system is supplied with a rugged sensor mount that is quickly and securely attached to a truck's 2" hitch receptacle, a battery powered sensor (for the mount), fiber optic cabling and a laptop computer with pre-installed software.
Operation is simple and straight forward. Limits are easily set on the computer with the supplied SVD-TS software. Narda's software provides the technician both audible and visual indication of a potential voltage on conductive objects detected while scanning. Independently witnessed testing performed by Narda and publicly filed, proved the validity of our system's detection capability up to 20 MPH.
Narda's 8950/10 can also optionally be supplied with our FFT option to accurately measure the frequency components of the fault. When a voltage is detected, this optional capability can determine if the fault is on the primary or neutral side, an important distinction.
